#2: Interpol @ HMH Amsterdam Jan 23th 2015

When it’s about Interpol, there is not a better word then ‘Awesome’ to describe the night. As always they were fantastic. Last time I saw them live onstage was about 4 years ago, it was nice to see one of my favourite bands again.

Thank you Interpol, come back again ")

#1 : First post of 2015 > London

It’s January already, wow. It’s been more than months since I came back from my little trip London, as always it was fun and enjoyable. But this time we wanted to experience London during holiday season. Winter Wonderland was this time our goal, but we also wanted to check some other things, like Camden market. And not forgetting to take some time to check our surroundings too.

My colleagues would asked me why I love London this much, but it’s not only the city that I love. I just love how I feel when I’m there, is much more to do with culture and people. They have fantastic taste in fashion and music, also they are such a nice people. I know the first time I was a bit taking back when people started to call me ‘love’ or ‘sweetheart’.  I didn’t had (so far) any bad moment during my stay in London. However I would like to explore more of England. I would love to visit Cornwall and check every place in Yorkshire. Hopefully maybe next year during a summer vacation (fingers crossed). I also feel very blast to have friends who are crazy like me about London and British culture. I’m not one of those who is okay being alone during vacation, I love to share and explore with someone.

Okay, back to my last trip to London. You know I keep forgetting things about the moments that got my attention or/and made me smile about it.  However next time I’m going to take a notebook with me, just like my clever friend J

During our last trip to London we visited Hyde Park Winter wonderland, J it was such fun. Tasting delicious cinnamon/sugar crepe, mulled wine, hot chocolate with baileys (yummm), live concert, beautiful Christmas decorations, trying not to lose each other, giant wheel....yes the giant wheel... I chickened out first. Sorry I do have high fright, but with the help from my friends I did it! No ice skating, though. Maybe next time.

I love the metro. There was an elderly man who gave up his seat to the woman who was about same age as him. That put a smile to my face, what a gentleman. And the two sweet adorable kids wanted to gave their seats to that elderly man....awwww.

Camden market, yes we did managed do go this time (second time for me) and explored more. I saw new things and I loved it. Stables Market it’s worth for the second look, also the famous Amy Winehouse statue will welcome you.  Another thing I loved about the market was this sweet lovely cafe which was decorated in  ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme and had delicious cakes and pies . Btw are you a fan of jewellery and vintage clothing? Well then  Camden market is definitely your next favourite place. I seriously adore their fashion understatement.

Nothing Hill was very new to me. But ever since I saw the documentary about Twiggy and the vintage culture in Nothing Hill, I wanted to visit. I’m glad I did, sadly it was very rainy day so we didn’t stay longer. But I’m not done yet, so next time I’m going to try to find more information about Nothing Hill.

Oh, not to mention we also did go to the Tower bridge. Yes, it’s a place that every tourist plans to visit. But I did saw on the news about this red poppies and the story behind it. So that intruded me, this is not something that will happen any time soon, maybe after another century...
We were just in time, cause they were already started taking off each poppies. Also I saw a lot of coins, does anyone has an idea why?

We went back to St. Paul’s Cathedral and went to the same cafe to have some drink and relax. I think that was the most enjoyable time of our trip. Just take some time to relax and observe. Also we went to the Tate Modern, they had small Christmas market. Did look some exhibitions, I think our friend, Dagmar, enjoyed it more though. And to go to the Tate Modern you probably need to cross over the bridge ‘Millennium Bridge’.

There are many things I might have forgot to mention it, but sometimes you are enjoying the moment so much that you forget to take picture of it or writing down about it. But next time I think I shouldn’t wait this long to type my experience down. Bottom line is that each trip will make curtain impact on you. Making new stories and taking pictures. Next time I really wanna, like a friend of mine said, just sit down in a cafe and take some picture of people passing by. That sounds a good idea. Probably in black and white, I love black and white.
